sorry about the first post .Didn't notice where you were from. Henry's has them for 500.00 new didn't search through the use ones.If they don't have one they will keep a search for one and contact you when one pops up.Very reliable and most of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Condition is the variable. Check KEH-- they have very generous ratings, IMO.

The Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro is an excellent lens. We have a few members who use this lens daily.

Please visit the UHH True Macro-Photography Forum at http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-102-1.html , where you can ask very specific questions.

I believe that C$350 is a good price for this lens, presuming it functions normally.

That is a good price, you should be aware that Tamaron has a new version of that lens which is on the average of $100 more. I recently bought the older version for $499 with a $50 Tamaron mail in rebate. The lens your looking at is probably the older version, no mater which one you are getting is a good price.

The older version has a ring on the lens which you slide forward or backward to change from auto focus to manual focus. The new version has a slide switch to cange focus mode.

I made comparisons of the two lens on my D7000 and could not tell any difference between the two as far as image quality. Either one is an excellent 1:1 macro lens and would be a good buy.

Conside Nikon's new 85mm f/1,8G which sells for $496,95 at B&H photo. Read the user reviews at B&b photo, Amazon and Adorama sites.
