Image 1 reminds my of rockets on Fireworks night. The colors blending from one to another are superb. I really do admire your style. Am seriously thinking about upgrading my system to Olympus OMD ME-5 with Olympus 60mm macro lens, have seen images from using this combination and the quality is outstanding.

Thank you macro2009, your comments are appreciated. #2 is a backlit shot of road kill, (pressed) snapdragons. Mike

Hi Steve, I'm glad you found these interesting, and I really appreciate your comments. I admire your style also. We do seem to see things in similar fashion. The image of the chives is an in-camera multi exposure, that's how all the colors got blended so smoothly. The last film camera I ever purchased was an Olympus OM-1 (1979), and the first digital camera of mine was an Olympus C-750 Ultrazoom (2004). Never had a problem with either one and they still work just fine. Personally, I don't think anyone could go wrong with an Olympus camera. Does the ME-5 have the multi exposure feature? A quick investigation at an online store did not answer that question for me. Mike

Thank you for the comments Robbie. It is nice to have Steve along for this ride we call Ugly Hedgehog, but I didn't twist his arm to purchase anything. Besides, he's a brick layer and could most likely kick my butt. lol. Mike

Hi Mike I don't know the answer to that question but I will find out. My camera and lens are on ebay at the moment so they will be gone this week-end. I shall be sorry to see them go as I have learnt a great deal from using them. I have yet to find the cash for the OMD and lens but I'm sure I will come up with the money . Rest assured when I do I will be posting.
