In the western deserts there are so many beautiful patterns in the sand. This is from Mesquite Flat dunes in Death Valley, taken at sunrise after a fierce sand storm

More patterns. Love the patterns that the ocean makes in the sand. Morning light through the trees, on the wall.

lovely images, as always Bushido, I have to start thinking of nature in more B&W--really brings out the details. Thanks for hosting
I feel like I have been gone for a month, and missed so many of the challenges and missed all of you too. But the crop is almost all planted, would have been done, but more rain the last couple of days. Good to be in the house and catch up on a few things. I told myself I am not going outside today--it is only 50 degrees and misting with a 45 mph wind. So am posting some old ones and will see what tomorrow brings.
lovely images, as always Bushido, I have to start ... (show quote)
