Nice shots songofthelamb.
Great job Song. Is that Will Rogers? My mother alwasy claimed to be related to his pilot Wiley Post. But I could never find the connection.
You guys been doing a lot of groov'n with your mov'n. I had a long distance move to Austin last night to catch a grandson's 5th grade "graduation" and to hurry back here to attend a grand daughter's dance recital. Most of my moving was trying to get around heads in the crowd to get a clear shot.
The elementary principal was also retiring so attended small reception for her. She's a real sunflower gal, so deco reflected the theme.

You can't walk all the way around this building, but I tried a couple of different angles. Here are two. These were taken 5-30-2013 right before a storm. I set it so you could download the second picture.
Excellent as always - I cracked up at the one for Nan
I can't take any pictures tonight and I probably won't be back. I enjoyed this one P and P thanks for hosting these postings.
I'll see you all again on the week end challenge.
Song - love your statues!

sometimes it is just a matter of a slight repositioning
Yes it does. And both are beautiful. In the first I am drawn to the pretty purple. In the second the lone branch is leading me back to the red...

The ND lowers it by about 3 stops which is great for long exposition shots as you can use it in light, making it easier to shoot earlier. I also use it about any time and I know a few who have two or three of them for long exposure in daylight.
They go about $80.00 new but mine is a Tiffen from amazon at $17.00.
Could you show me a shot with and the same shot without?
