I totally agree, if you leave them alone, sooner or later they will kill each other. I think when they look into a mirror what they see they feel like killing
Great statement. Also I think (oh my god) we should have more profiling at the airports on incoming tan skin, turban headed, goat smelling visitors and tougher immigration laws to boot.

Haven't we learned to keep our noses out of other peoples business, John McCain is a bumbling old idiot that needs to retire. I'm no Obama fan but I think he has enough sense to keep us out of another middle east quagmire.
You think Obama will keep you out of the middle east, when he has stated that the use of chemical weapons in Syria will be a red line issue. Now we have the controversy over a limited chemical weapons strike. Was it Syria?, or the opposition?, who have zealots who would bomb their own people with chemical weapons to get the support "indicated by a red line stance" taken by Obama.
My 'red line' would be where the fall-out stops.

There should be two red lines, like cross-hairs... Where they intersect is "ground zero"...

I meant to say " Why rushing to another war , when he is trying to start one here by destroying our Country "
A huge waste of young American lives. How many have died since we went into Iraq. Even though Saddam was a tyrant, he kept Iraq orderly compared to what it is today. Of course, history has shown that when we pull out many more will die. The Vietnam syndrome. Will we ever learn or is there too much profit to be made. We have blood on our hands.
I think it was best said by Gore Vidal: We did not care about these people before why should we care about them now.
I have seen no inclination for the US to get involved in Syria and do not think we will see one - at least under this Administration.

The question asked was "Could Syria Become Our Next Vietnam?"
The answer is Yes and No.
I do not believe that the American people will duplicate how they reacted to us veterans upon returning like they did from the Vietnam war.
On the other had we had no business in Vietnam and we certainly have no business in Syria or any other country that has not attacked us.
To all my fellow vets I say welcome home, nobody else did.

I really dont get it. It makes absolutely no difference which side we take because in the end when its all said and done the side left in charge will hate us. Even if we are instrumental in helping them come to power well still be the bad guy. Why in the world should we be spending American taxpayers money on people who will only use whatever aid we offer to bring harm to us down the road? I think we should avoid getting involved in the civil strife of Muslim against Muslim. No matter the outcome it will not be good for America or any other western civilization
.as always JMHO

You are wrong for saying that.
