What is the best way to eat an Oreo cookie. Personally I press the two sides apart sideways and I scrape the white stuff off with my teeth and then I eat the cookies usually with a little milk. YUM YUM.

One of the best things about oreos is there is no wrong way to eat them. I'll do the split and scrap, followed by the dunking of the two cookie halves. I do the dunk the whole thing (0ccasionally resulting in some of it dropping into the milk for future scooping and eating), and I've been known to just eat a cookie dry and wash it down with some nice cold milk. And how joyous life is now that "Triple Stuffs" have hit the shelves. AS a kid I remember opening several and wadding the creme from them together for a nice jolt of pure sweet happiness.

dip the cookie part way in the milk untill it becomes bottom heavy ,,, release the cookie and watch it sink.... grab as it falls just below surface of milk.... eat in one bite... repeat 2 more times... then guzzle milk

The best way for me is to twist the cookies apart, scrape all the filling out and throw it away, then enjoy the yummy cookies!

Fig Newtons, while tasty in their own right, do not compare with Oreo's. This is due to several factors one of which is that Fig Newtons do not fare as well when dipped in milk. The only other cookie argument to be had would be comparing Oreo's to Home made Chocholate Chip Cookies (made with Nestle's Semi sweet Chips). Now that would lend to a "which is better" thread.
By the way, is anybody collecting payment for all this product plugging we're doing?

sinatraman...very very funny except emrob62 is right...fig newtons are NOT a good sub for Oreos.. :)

There's a candy company in central CT that hand dips them in either milk, dark, or white chocolate.... Now THAT's a way to eat an oreo!!!

Only one way and that is with ICECREAM. Chip mint preferably..ok if you dont have any ice cream in the freezer it is allowable to eat a few but you must pop the whole thing in your mouth and not even try to talk for a few chews.

Sinatraman... that is about the funniest you have been ...with a LOL that turned my husbands head in my direction. I buy fig newtowns a lot more often than oreos.

It depends on the mood I am in. Sometimes I eat them plain. Sometimes I twist apart eat the center and then eat the cookie. Sometimes I twist apart eat the center and dip the cookies and sometimes I just dunk the whole thing. Although I don't often eat them plain cause I just end up needing milk; so dunking is most likely with me. Depends on how bad I need to eat an Oreo. LOL :-D :-D :-D :-D
