I am talking about the Missouri Poppy. I bought one 2 years ago. Now they have practically over run my garden. I don't mind. They don't choke out the other plants though and they seem to explode all at once. Very pretty.

I threw in the Clematis just because.

Nice picture, Tom. Here in Tn, the nurseries call that an Alabama Primrose. In Alabama, they call them Buttercups because you tell someone to smell them and gently touch it to their nose. They walk away not realizing their nose is now YELLOW! I love them and have some in my yard too.

Ha! That's funny. I meant to say "Primrose". Poppy; what was I thinking? I do have Missouri Poppy and it looks nothing like this.
