You let your cat run loose? It kills anything it can. Leave the natural predators alone. They were here before you. Your audacity is over flowing!!!
Funny, as you just posted this on another thread.

Thanks for the chuckle. :D
God has a phobia about people that destroy His creations. I'm praying He'll forgive you and your hubby, but He probably won't.
TROOLS ALL OF YOU.
I hate spiders. I kill everyone I see even if I have to go out of my way to do it.
That's me and I don't judge anyone else in their likes an dislikes.
I'll pick up a snake that I know isn't poisonous but that don't mean we're kissing cousins.

I'm with you, Sarge69. They make great photos but I personally don't need them for anything else! But that's just me....

Hmm, I always thought, as a bug, you would sympathize with spiders. :hunf:
I do love taking photos of bugs-have thousands-hence the name. But I don't want them crawling on me or in my kitchen cabinets, or in my bed:) I have my limits!
I wasn't going to reply or post because I was just getting a chuckle about you thinking it grew back together  It does look quite choppy and give that illusion, therefore I doubt you have a rodent problem because this poor fellow looks as if he is in need of a good meal. But as I read all the responses I feel I wanted to throw in my 2 cents...
Ph0t0bug... I admire your bravery, I don't have a fear of snakes but I do have a fear of wasps and bees. I know how hard it is to push that aside to get that perfect photo. I can relate to you being ready to jump in a seconds notice if it moved. I understand the removal of the snake in your garage.
Once there was a big hornet's nest in our shed and my husband kept telling me how beneficial they were, so I let them stay. Well as it continued to grow, they got more aggressive, and one buzzed my head when I went in to get something. That's all it took...and it was on!!! So, I Armed myself with a brand new can of wasp spray and went to town... Guess who won!
It's hard to do... but try to ignore those who stand in judgement about a personal decision. You will find just as many or more who will come to aide when being attacked.

I really appreciate your story and understanding. Sounds like you had much more to fear than I did! Glad they didn't get to you!
I'm with Sarge..hate spiders and snakes! Hope I'm never close enough to kill one. My hubby is my spider-killer!
As a snake lover and previous owner of several, I have to say...that ones a real beauty. Didn't like hearing about the killing part though. Never understood killing things just because they exist.
Phobias need not be acted upon. Just walk away, and leave the innocent critter alone. And seek counseling from a psychologist or clergyman if you can't control the urge to kill.

Don't quit because someone is rude to you:(
The world is full of negative people. Make the site better by simply ignoring rude uncalled for comment. The VAST majority on the site are people with an interest in photography who refrain from sounding rude.

I may have to seek help as I kill any mosquito that land on me and I recently killed 3 ants that showed up in my house. At least I feel a little better now that I have confessed.

I call it "selective indignation," sounds more colorful than hypocrisy.
By the way, haven't seen you in awhile SinatraMan, hope you are doing well. 8-)
