Mans sets a world record for sitting in a ferris wheel for 48 hours.

Imagine what The President of the United States could do if he
sat in the Oval Office and did not go on TV for 48 hours?

And let us not forget a do-nothing Congress which has a 2013 session schedule of 126 days. Not a bad gig: about $175K plus per year for working less than one- third of the year, and then do very little legislating when in session.

A sample of their workload:

Indeed, June 2013 will be the House’s busiest month, with a whopping 16 days scheduled for legislative work in Washington. Lawmakers will meet for 14 days in July and October, 12 days in the months of March, April and May and nine days next September.

As the holidays approach next year, the House will convene for eight days each in November and December. Keeping with tradition, there will be two days of official business at the start of August, then lawmakers will leave for their summer recess.

And this is TOTALLY due to the Republican majority in the House of Representatives led by John Boehner. The majority party sets the calendar with no input from the minority party.

Time and time again, as artificial deadlines loomed, and Congress was scheduled to take a break, Democrats implored Republicans to stay in Washington to govern, but every time they have been rebuffed.

With Congress tied up and doing nothing means our Freedoms are a little safer.

When congress goes on recess he will invoke executive orders.
He will insert some more sycophants to new czars, etc.

Imagine the fun a congressman/congresswoman would have cutting and pasting from the hog. Either side could be reprinting posts lauding what a terrific job they were doing. BOTH SIDES SUCK! It matters not which party is in control we continue to lose ground both economically and socially.

I am not buying that crap, with you it is always the Republicans, well I have news for you. Both Republicans and Democrats are worthless power hungry, what can I do for me, whatever it takes to get re-elected, slobs. The wonderful two parties in power are what got this great country on it's knees, and will soon totally bring it down. We need to break the mold and find people who are interested in "serving" the people who elect them. Until that happens it will be more of the same.
