When I moved into my home last year I found a smc pentax 1:2 50mm lense. Can this lense be used by my canon eos 300D?

Pentax K/PK lens on Canon EOS system digital and film SLR cameras with Pentax K/PK lens on Canon EF Brass/bronze adapter. Manual operation; focus to infinity. Note, will only work on cameras that mount EF lenses!
There's two versions of adaptors available: 1) is fully manual focus and 2) has a chip in it so the camera thinks a lens is mounted and the autofocus confirm light works - it's still fully manual focus but the indicator will flash when the camera thinks focus is right. Usually very little difference in the cost of the two adaptors.
I'm pretty sure these adaptors work on EF and EF-S bodies. I've used 'em on 450d and 30d.
