How about a collage where the pics have no borders but meld into each other. This is 2 hots with a choic of center shot and size of centerphoto

Not bad at all, JerryG. What software did you use for this? That kind of fading and blending requires a lot of work in PS.

Check out the PhotoSpills (free) samples. There was a link in one of the prior comments and one of the samples was very similar to JerryG's example.

[I really can't take much credit for the finished product the software does the work. I shot the photos, picked the 12 pics, decided which is center and how much bigger it will be than the others and told it GO. The software does the actual placement and if you don't like it you tell the program to do it over. You do this till you like it.]

The software you're referring to in this comment, JerryG.

I have the template but sending it this way makes it EZ for him to work with.

I have a client who wants me to create a photo collage with 30 images and I must admit that I have never made a collage, so this seems pretty daunting to me. I do have Elements 11 and I found that it will make photo collages...but with a limit of 8 photos.

I don't mind buying a special software package, or doing it online..I just need your help / recommendations on how to create a 30 photo collage!

I thank you for any suggestions on how to do this!!

I use various COLLAGE programs on my iPad/Phone/Pod's.
I just looked in the itunes store and there are about 1,013 apps on COLLAGE uses that range from free to a few bucks. I would recommend DIPTIC, FUZEL to name a few. Some of the apps have cameras, frames and text added, also.

Hello, everyone has spoken about Picasa and shown what it is capable of, if you look as to how you can alter the look of the photos, frames etc. then make a new folder on the library page you have so many options, maybe not with your current project, enjoy playing.

Boy, what a great support group! You folks arre the best! I could not be more pleased with all of your support you have provided.

The image I did was a collage in Picasa. However, I am also going to try your ( Jerryg, donnahde, Jerryc and Billybob's) suggestions as well!

I tried to upload the image to show you, but for some reason the "Browse" button was not able to get the image from my file.

Thanks again everyone!!!!
