Well let me explain something that you obviously missed. For one there is no such thing as a AK 15. Now I have a semi automatic AR 15 that stays locked up in my gun cabinet until I take it to the range or coyote hunting. I DO NOT " carry it" as you are thinking. It is NEVER in reach of children. When it is shot, it is aimed at a target that has an adequate backstop. Just because some psycho chooses this weapon for his nefarious deeds doesn't mean I should feel guilty because I own one. Understand?

Dennis, I'm thinking of the pictures I saw in the paper of a convention of 10,000 gun owners and several had AK's or AR whatevers strapped over their shoulder. I believe and respect that you are careful with your gun...I'm really talking about automatic weapons of war, not semi-automatic. Automatics are like machine guns....why would anyone need that for hunting or for protection unless they had a paranoid belief that the government was going go to war against their own citizens? Believe it or not, there's a lot of conspiracy theories out there and one is that Obama is buying up all the ammunition so nobody can defend themselves when he comes after them. This is fear, bigotry and hate taken to the inth degree

Yes but one problem with your statement. The government has no power to give anyone rights. Our rights are natural, just because you're a citizen.

I agree with you.

Haven't you heard, unemployment dropped to 7.5%? If the Repubs would just let Obama tax the super 2% rich, we could have revenue to employ people to build bridges, schools, roads, etc....but no, don't give an inch to this prez....get him impeached and let the country go to hell, that is the main objective of this congress.

Another conspiracy is that Obama is gay and has a secret husband hidden away. Really?

I have a fix for gun control. First why should someone in Chicago or Boston have any right to tell someone in Alaska or remote Wyoming that they should not carry a gun to protect their selves and their proberty. Not everyone lives were police can be there within minutes and you can't tell the criminal to wait till they get there. Solution gun control should be left to local government and the federal government should keep out of it.

I agree well said Dave

You are showing your lack of knowledge of guns and game. "Dear", fox, rabbit and quail are shot with different weapons, non of which are automatic.

My take on the magazine capacity is like this. You are out in the woods, you surprise a bear with cubs, the bear attacks you. Does anyone honestly think that it will only take a single shot to bring down the bear in a panic situation? Most people are not that accurate with their rifles at close range like that....Oh, wait, Biden says get a shotgun...Yeah, right...

I agree with your statement, but don't sell the shotguns short.
I have succesfully hunted bear and wild boar with a double barrel, cylinder bore , 12 ga. shutgun, using slugs. It does the job.

What kind of game do you hunt? Endangered wolves, lions, tigers, moose and buffalos? That would be unconscionable. Are bears game? I never heard of that only that you would shoot one in self defense. They are such an easy target because their big and slow....why would they be game?
