Hi Geezer. I have about 15 feeders around the yard. And a little bit of everything for food. Heck, they eat better than me.:):) I am trying peanut butter on some of the branches around the flower beds. Seems to be working too. Almost time to get the Humming Bird feeders out.:):)

That's 11 feeders more than I've got!!! :?

I seem to think there's a multitude of feeders here in the neighbourhood. And it depends on their mood who's feeder they're going to grace with their presence... :D
I've even played Jay calls on the MP3 to no avail. Next I'll be trying your peanut butter idea.

I have my feeders around trees and shrubs. And in the flower gardens. It gives them a place to land and hide it the shrubs and flowers. But if you could put out a few more feeders I am sure it would help. They don't have to be big. They will pick one and go to it all the time. And the other birds seem to know too and they don't fight over the seed. I have 6 sock feeders for the Finches. They all have their favorite one to go to. The peanut butter seems to be working too. I put it on branches where I can get good shots of them.:):) I just learned that trick.:):)

Thanks for the advice. We haven't any flower gardens yet, the snow just finished disappearing. But I'll be out today with my wife's jar of peanut butter..... :D

Wow, Erv, sounds wonderful! When we were younger we wouldn't have thought twice about driving over, but we've really slowed down now. We don't go far except to our son, John's in Chesapeake, VA...and that takes us 8 hours!

It would be fun to meet, Erv, but right now I wonder how it will ever happen. We've really slowed down! Al's 75 and I'm 70 now! I think you and Janny are younger.
