Of course they will not say outright that we are going to take your guns right up front. This would never work, but by making them unavailable to certain groups of non felons and appointing themselves the ones to decide which groups, the Gov't has started a process of disarming the entire country. This is already happening. First fully automatic now semi automatic. Clips that hold more than 10 rounds, then 7 then what?...Single shot muzzle loaders. chrisscholbe by your logic then we should not have any auto accidents they are Licensed and regulated but far more are killed by cars than guns.
While it would have zero affect on crime I don't have a problem with being qualified we have handgun competition at the local gun club and I can beat all of the local police only one of them is really good.
Just because a person is not a cop does not mean they are not a marksman.
