Late as usual. You have all been busy, excellent Best Shots and good comments.
Here are some I took of our sunset last night.
Looks like I am still having problems with the color. The orginals show the true color. Have tried several things to get the smaller ones to show up correctly, went on several forums for suggestions. Looks like I am doing everything right.
If the colors on the downloads on these are accurate, then the best thing to do if you want the smaller image/thumbnail to appear with better color, you have to resize the photo to no more than 600 pixels wide because UHH resizes the photos to 600 pixels wide for the "thumbnail" display. Anything larger than that goes thru their resizing which definitely does not keep the true beauty of most pictures.

love the pictures catgirl, so colourfull
this is a rather plain coastal picture, compared to the wonderful pictures here, but hey!
Beautiful view!! Love how the sun is making that point of land have a glowing "halo" effect!!
IF you want to change it, post processing would allow you to lighten the 'shadows', bring down the highlights just a little bit, and then some increase to the saturation. Would make this an AWESOME photo!

Sorry for the late response. Spring projects around the house and yard are taking up much of my time. First of all, everyone's photos are great, and second, thank you Plessner, Lorima, Jjadeco25, Judy Juul, Laskalass, Agnesm, Peanut, Cricket2, Cardinallady, Mgstrawn, Lorima, and Plessner for your kind comments.

Ah Wahawk, this is the first information that I have seen that makes sense to me. I will resize in the future and see how it goes. Thank you so much.
Pat, so sorry I wasn't able to reply to say that your "hit me" was great. Loved your examples and thank you for doing this hosting. I have been over busy with my garden and seedlings and new bird houses, etc. You are so great, love all that you do!

IF you are willing to upload the larger files, just make sure you click the "Store Original" and suggest that the viewers download for a better view. If you are not going to "Store Original" then the resizing is the best option.
