Hummingbird Moth

Last evening I looked at a flower planter in my yard and thought what I saw was about 1/2 dozen baby hummingbirds flying around the flowers. Grabbed my camera and looking closer saw they were some kind of moth. Looked it up and sure enough they are a hummingbird moth. I had never seen these before but they sure were pretty.

Thanks Gene, I hope they are back this evening to get some better shots, they moved so fast like a hummingbird. :lol:

I waited last night to see if they came back, they did and I got some better shots. They do like that flower. :lol:

I caught a quick picture of one while walking one day.
Got a quick photo as they don't set long. looked like it had been hurt
