Spring in the NW

Hello friends, spring has finally arrived here in the NW. Tomorrow I'm headed up north a ways to the Tulip Festival which I haven't made it to in a few years. Wishing everyone a blessed and enjoyable spring. Wide angle lens on the first shot with a 3 stop ND grad filter holding back the sky. 70-200 zoom on the 2nd one, wide open at f2.8 for the soft background.

Thanks so much folks. You are the nicest of any forum I've seen. Here is another one from yesterday. BTW, I'm making these frames real fast using the Nik's vignette too. (not it's intended purpose....) Anyone else have any of the Nik software? It works as a plugin with Lightroom, CS, and NX2.

Really nice, Ernie. I especially like the softness of the tulips in the second shot--the soft pastel colors work really well with that.

Thanks for the nice replies folks. The tulip festival was fun today but turned out not so much time for photography since I went with a church group. Still should have something for you in a day or two. Blessings.....
