I am impressed. I have tried photos of the cardinal from my bird feeder, pleased with what I got, but nothing like these. What cameras do you use? And I expect that the birds trust you and you are close for the shots. Beautiful, and love the Ansel quote too. Will copy tht one down.

Thank you so much for your kind words ascutney! The Cardinals were taken with my Canon SX40 bridge camera...happened to catch that Cardinal as I walked through the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens. The Bluebirds were taken with my Pentax Kx and my 55-300 lens.
