Gene, I to like the columbine to photograph. My wife planted some about 20-25 years ago. Still going strong and still taking photos of it.

We don't have them here, so once again I'm enriched by the hogs.
Beautiful pictures! Our native columbine is blooming, the other should bloom in a couple weeks.

Thank you, Jim. These are the only ones I've seen since being out in CO back in the 70s. Not many in my neck of the woods. Very few seed them in their yards. Glad you like these, and thanks for looking.
Gene they are wonderful, I will have to get my wife to plant some of them for me to enjoy with the camera. Until then I will enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Greg. They come in different colors. Google them and you'll find plenty of places that sell seeds. Glad you like these and thanks for looking.

 Thanks, Erv. And thanks for this morning's chuckle.
I was intrigued with the claw like shape so I shot them that way. When they come up this year, I'll give it a try to get more of the inside. Everyone says things are coming up late this year, but they fail to realize that its normal here. We got spoiled with 80-deg.+ at this time last year -- after winter came summer, not spring. Thanks for looking.
