Correct protocol, Warrior, except to sargeants. My son almost got his innerds turned inside out when he said that to a sargeant. It was made very clear to him that to a sargeant you say Yes sargeant.

And I even used the computer dictionary to make sure it was spelled correctly. Thank you sir (I am assuming that you were not a sergeant). Five years out of teaching and I am losing my finely tuned edge. Correct spelling was not a pet peeve, it was a major requirement.
