Do to the recent cyber attacks on websites, users of CLOUD services and internet active services may be slowed or even halted due to these attacks on servers and the internet as a whole. There have been numerous sites that have been ground to a halt for long periods including Youtube and Google. Just a word to the wise when utilizing open servers for backup or other services. Email may even be suspended for periods of time from this adverse and unprovoked cyber assault.

JR1,
I have no reservations with utilizing clouds, especially when you use a polarizing or UV filter on the lens. LOL

I must agree, I just never saw the cloud thing as a good idea. I want my data where I can control it.

Well some of the backup mechanisms have some benefits, but under present conditions this could be detrimental if this cyber attack crap keeps up for long periods of time. Eventually they will catch the culprits but until then, anything over the net has possible adverse ramifications.

That happens here all the time so I installed a solar power plant. It generates enough electricity to power everything here plus I supply some of my neighbors.
