My wife has decided to test my recently fitted pacemaker.

Good luck with that John. Maybe a stone spreading party for the neighbours, but don't get the beer out until both bags are empty and spread.

Within two weeks of my quadruple by-pass my wife got me out in front of the house to remove hedges that were so big I had to use a chain saw to rid the ground of the roots.
My mother, who was visiting after my operation was crying saying I was going to kill myself. I told her "Mom, the guy in cardiology said to go out and enjoy another 50 years which I'm holding him to. I'll just work here until I start sweating"
She giggled and all was well.

My Dad made a devise that could detect the pacemaker in operation. Then later installed a hidden button to set the thing off like an alarm. Needless to say every time mom tried to have " her say" he would set it off. Shut her up in a heart beat.
She never figured it out in 17 years.

I never liked CW but managed to grab Advance before they did away with it but not very active any more. I like 20 meter DX and do not have a good ant. now. 73 Ron W4KAT.

I'm sure the pacemaker will survive the test. Your heart may be another matter!!
Reminds me of a friend who was leaving hospital after a hernia operation. When he stepped outside there was a snowstorm blowing, and on reaching his car he found he had a flat tire. Which he had to change in the middle of the storm. He survived just fine.

After glancing at the recent replies to the pacemaker it seemed to get lost into coded messages between about 3 or 4 gentle men.....LOL
It reminds me of the folk from Aberdeen in Scotland who speak the Doric.
I am quite mesmerised.
However lads carry on regardless you are doing a good job ...I think
