It's a base for a video camera Model V-0612 to transfer film to video.Made by AMBICO.Works great for any camera.Picked 2 up at goodwill for 10.00.One had the transfer box the other didn't.I'll see if I can send a picture.

I use it instead of a small tri pod.Flat base.Adjustable up and down.Two different length mounting post.I will get some stainless steel rod and make different lengths.
