Thanks for your comments about the faux gimbal from Adorama for $40. Ordered one right away and it arrived last night and I used it for the first time this morning.

What a fabulous Value. It worked very well and I am very pleased. It is not a $400 Gimbal head. What it is, is another tool that is very useful. Thanks again for making me aware of this item.

Adorama.com has a very inexpensive imitation Gimble head which I and others have purchased....It is a very good. An excellent value....check out adorama.com
