I got the chance to see this battle take place over mating rights yesturday. I thought they were going to kill each other. It went on for about five minutes.Canon 5d-II 300mmL lens. ISO 800 f/4 1/1600 shutter. They both flew off without injuries. The one with the black tip on his beak was the winner.
