Big debate with myself. Forgetting for a moment the quality or non quality of the photo, setting, etc. which do you think is better? Vignette? or No vignette?

PS Did I even come close to spelling vignette correctly?

Thanks

No Vignette
No Vignette...

Some Vignette
Some Vignette...

#1 - I've spent a lot of time removing vignette from photos.

In some cases what normally is undesirable, becomes desirable, this happens to be one of those cases.

I like #2 because it is subtle and doesn't detract from the picture. Some people go way overboard with vignettes and it ruins the picture. I think a picture should be able to stand on it's own-if it doesn't then it needs something like cropping, centering or some other adjustment.

I love vignettis as long as they are not overdone. This one is gorgeous and IMHO, enhances the photo beautifully!

Vignette? Yes, #2 stands out better for the subject. The vignette is very slight and not noticable at first. Good job. Some shots require more vignetting, but not this one :)

I like vignette, but for some reason the colors in the first one seem so much more vivid to me...
