I need help to restore old family photos

Here are a series of old photos from a family album. I touched them up the best I could with what ArcSoft PhotoImpression and PicMonkey but I can't get rid of the yellowing in the background. Any ideas????

My 30 second try, not as good as Wendy. Shame that they weren't happier, would have made a better picture.

Things is, this is the happiest I've ever seem them. I think this was taken in 1968 or 69. My grandmother (seated) passed away in 69.
