:lol: :lol: :lol: I've been to the U.K. on numerous occasions (Croughton, Banberry, Oxford and many other places N/S/E/W) and I'm familiar with some words and phrases Scots/Brits use that we Yanks have a different meaning for. I always dropped my "Fags" in the bucket -- don't like littering. My favorite was always, "Knock 'er up." (I just couldn't resist replying to you.) Have a great day. -- Gene

Yes RG, as you will know most pubs here have some kind of "ashtray" outside,but as the night goes on the aim becomes more erratic, so now you have a nice clean pub inside... but the pavement outside is now an ashtray!!
