We have nesting pairs here on Long Island and they are calm enough to get fairly close to nests, with my 400 I still can not get THAT kind of frame filling perfectly focused shots of these marvelous fish hawks.
Simply stunning phoitiography!

Hey Molly
Several shots are of the same bird, but I photographed at least 30 different Osprey this day. I was on a boat in and around some Cypress Trees they were nesting in. Highest concentration of Osprey I've seen in such a small area. Just as many on Lake Istokopoga, but Istokopoga is much larger. This Lake is only 5 miles long by 3 miles wide. I can't wait to go back and see the babies.
