Hey GWR, no unfortunately not i was young and too busy soaking it all up. Family are still there though in Umwinsidale, Marranderra and some up in the highlands in Inyanga (zim).
Did a few weeks in Mozambique on a small cataraman.. so beautiful!
I was there on time out before joining army staying with family.
Will go back soon as have son who is now the same age as i was when i went went. I was lucky to work on my fathers godmothers game park/ tobacco & cattle farm. So many remarkable memories.

The Elephant in the 5th photo was mock charging us, but we trusted our guide and stood still. It stopped as I took the shot, about 25 Mts away and it backed off, so did we, a bit quickly.
