Two beautiful ducks that stayed enough for me to take around 40 photos of them. Taken with CAnon SX30 IS, bridge camera.

My luck, thank you all. I wonder, they seem to have a very understanding, wise look! There I a brief movement at sunset when the light is orange-yellow before turning red and then darkness comes down.that was the moment.

Very nice shots, the SX30 is what I have, thinking of going to the SX50, were you shooting manual or auto?

Beautiful shots. Did you PP? If so, what did you use/do?
The colors and clarity are outstanding.

To answer both: I think I was shooting in "Program" mode at ISO 200 and sometimes at ISO 400, its the only thing I varied.

I made a light PP with LR3 on the ones that were too dark, increasing exposure because I had set exposure bias at -1/3 which I had not noticed-somehow that button moved while playing back photos. It helps to check everything first, but I usually don't!
In some I augmented "darks" on LR3. I try to leave the photos as close to original as possible, I didn't have to do much with these. Also, they were close to me and in some of them i used the fill flash. The ambient light was perfect; it was approaching sunset and I could see how light changed form moment to moment; that is why I say I was lucky.

I also want to go to the highest zoom one they have, the SX50; or go o the Nikon superzoom P510. But first I have to sell the other SX30 IS that i have.

azphotobug, thanks to our post I have PSE for $49.00! Thank you for the tip. I have several programs because not one does everything.
