Hi. Can anyone advise me about the Samsung "nx1000" smart compact, its being discounted in Britain along with a free 7" galaxy tab. I am by nature highly sceptical with offers like these, but I might be tempted if any of you good people could give it some positive reviews.

Hi Doddy, I've got one and have been very pleased with it. You can e-mail photos direct from camera, upload onto laptop easily and use a cellphone with wi fi as a remote viewer which can be really handy.Rather than the 7" tab I got mine for a good price with a starter kit incl. 16mm pancake lens spare battery etc. I also found some good deals on amazon for lenses. I think they're well worth the money.

thanks for your input Greg, as I said this was on offer at Amazon for about £265 with starter lens as against Curry's £375!!
