ummm, do you mean like a d7100? Otherwise you can buy a "new" d7000 at Best Buy right now...

yes, 7100, 7200 or whatever is a possible replacement for the d7000. When the 7000 was reduced to 998, many here prognosticated that a new version would be out by now. No word lately here and just checking to see what latest word might be.
