Maybe my eyes are not as talented as others to find anything that needs "fixing", but WOW!, I love them just as they are!

Hmmm, GREEN eyed? For 3 cents more he could have had RED eyes! LOL!

All five images are excellent. My only suggestion a tighter cropping on both frog photos to remove excess background.

What's to improve? Very good photos! #1 & #2 are Nat Geo photos.

WOW! These are absolutely awesome. A different crop on the second so that the frog isn't centered might improve it. Otherwise, as far as I can tell, there is nothing to improve. I wish I had half of your talent!

Hey thanks for the advice on cropping, I didn't really think of that.

JMHO, I wouldn't crop the first one. It would lose some of that fabulous edge on the grass. Yes, it leaves the frog in the center, but like RUSS said in another place, I hate "the rule". Wonder why anyone ever thought to make that anyway. The second frog could be cropped a little, but losing some of the grasses will lose some nice detail...maybe just a little off the left to throw the frog off center just a bit. Hey! What do I know!?

With a little imagination, taking a little off the left side of the second frog, leaves that nice black hole in the grass that looks like there just might be something lurking down in there...maybe a froggy soulmate?

1.) When you reply to a specific post, click on "Quote Reply" so WE know to whom you are replying.

2.) When you modify one of your images, repost the original and the edit, so we can see the comparison.

3.) I would like to see much of the left side cropped-out of your second frog image, almost to a square format. Leave the right side as is.

Thanks Douglas,
I'm still trying to get the hang of this forum. Also thanks for giving me the advice on the cropping.

Obviously the frog has caught everyone's attention... Very vibrant colors!

As for my opinion of the 'rule' of thirds... I think in many cases it's necessary, BUT when you have strong leading lines like the frog photos, it's easily over ruled!

I would like to see some cropping of the Ocelot photo, putting his head in the lower left third, cropping off some of the bottom, which is distracting.
FAB colors and white balance on that shot too!

Have you posted the Italy photo before? It seems familiar... anyway, It's hard to tell in here, because of the re-sizing etc.. but I think it might have some minor focus issues in that one. The fruit stand(?) in the middle of the frame seems off a little.

The golden gate pic looks a little blurry too. Were you shooting handheld? If so, I'd suggest getting a tripod for shots like that, when your shutter speed is slower.
I like the angle, the waterline, the reflection, and the colors you captured in that photo.

I like the crop, it makes it feel like he is jumping into the photo.
