I'm thinking you completely missed the message in that photo. The message to me is two fold. 1. If criminals won't obey it then why should we disarm law abiding citizens? 2. Bandaid fixes do not stop problem bleeding.

Wait, wait, I know the answer to that...Because we employ people to represent us and make logical laws for us, whose mentality and judgement does not seem to go beyond cutting the branch they sit on. You know the type. Those neat guys and gals, who get better pay and benefits than anybody to produce absolutely NOTHING, and as a reward we keep re-electing them over and over again....Well, they seem to think if you outlaw water, no one will ever drown again.
