i generally prefer to shoot where there are no roads, but here are a couple...
hwy 163 east of Monument Valley
a one-lane gravel road somewhere east of the Cascades in Washington

We live outside of Payson, AZ, and yes we have LOTS of firewood. The national forest is all around us! :O)
