The Wachter Ranch was just outside of Bismarck, ND You can go to wickapedia and get the whole history of it. My Uncle Eugene (Gene) Wachter Ran the ranch. Gene and Paul Wachter where my uncles. As a side line they raised and shown quarter horse's. Jack F

The Green Bay Packers home field is sometimes known as the frozen tundra. We are 85 miles north of Green Bay. So far this winter, the lowest night temperature was -19. The high for that day was -7. BUT, we love it. We live in the woods on a lake. Our nearest neighbor on one side is 1/2 mile away and 1 1/2 miles on the other side. The last two miles to our house is a gravel road. A few great picture taking possibilities.

Sounds like paradise...in the summer ;-) Not sure I could handle the winters ;-)
