Start of a Snowstorm. Comments welcome as to, are they worth the effort

Every winter seems to be different. We are in the North
of England and it's pretty high up where we live, right on
the East Coast facing the North Sea, so we get plenty
of wind as well. It's beautiful though, I wouldn't swap it for
anywhere else.
We get our share, thanks for looking

I must admit, I was a bit embarrassed when I first posted them but quite a
few have commented and made me quite pleased that I did post them.

So Graham, how come your wife is not out shoveling that stuff, I am sure she has already cooked dinner, cleaned the dishes, put away the laundry, baked a pie for tomorrow, fed the stock, milked the cows and now she's just lollygagging around the house.

#2 is great. It made me feel the starkness of the place in winter. Almost sent a shiver down my spine.

Wouldn't want to drive in it, but it sure is pretty, Graham.

Thanks for your reply.
My wife is on tweve hour shifts at a stone mine. She has to go down a 175 foot mine shaft and she uses a stone cutting machine that cuts great big slabs of stone for pillars, giant staircases etc etc. It's water cooled so she is ankle deep in ice cold water most of the shift. It gives me the willies just thinking about it, but she's a tough old sort is my missus. She manages all the household chores OK. Why shouldn't she, the shift is only 12 hours and it's not for me, housework, I'm retired anyhow and she wouldn't expect me to give her a hand. She doesn't believe
in men doing cissie girl chores.
Have a nice day

PS I'm going on a 14 day luxury Mediterranean cruise but she couldnt get time off work. I'm not sorry, all she talks about is missing her work-mates if ever she goes on holiday. It's a few years anyhow when she last went on holiday. She paints the house and maintains the fences, concreting a new drive etc etc it's a big house for her to manage on her own, but she does.
