The Moses Cone Estate is a very beautiful old house along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has some really nice views of the mountains.

wouldn't it be nice to be up in the birds nest on top of the house, what a view. Nice estate. Do you know who lives there?

That is a beautiful place. I go there and Julian Price Lake pretty often. I live near there most of the year. That to me is the most beautiful area of the Blue Ridge. It's fun going to Blowing Rock near there too. I'm not there now, so thanks for the photographs. It makes me miss it.

No one lives there. The heritage association sells local crafts there I believe.

One of my favorite places in the world (at least the parts of the world I've been in)! The view from the Manor house used to be so much prettier when you couldn't see the condos, but it's still lovely. The carriage trails are fantastic to hike and ride on horseback and there are so many butterflies during the summer that it's unbelievable. I'm glad you got to go enjoy it!
