Buying advice

Hi have a Canon 400d and a few old Pentax 35mm lens ie 35mm/50mm.85mm kmount with a 50mm and 135mm m42 mount is this a good idea or am i better off buying canon ef lens? thanks

While you may be able to use your old film lenses with an adapter, you will not have autofocus or auto-diaphragm. I recommend that you buy a proper Canon EF lens to get the most enjoyment from your camera.

No brainer ,,,, go Canon lens. If you want to go a bit less expensive go Sigma, they are good and well worth looking at. I would not touch TAMRON. Hope this helps
