That's very nice framing, Jo. The red door (that most all Episcopal churches have) gives it "punch".

Jo,

For some reason, I keep coming back to this image. It must have some pull on my mind, which I can't quite put my finger on?

In any event, I love it. I might suggest doing some crop off the top and the bottom, maybe making the image square. It is a very strong image that with the crop, I am thinking that the resulting image would be even stronger. Very nice image that speaks to me.

You did not put a tick mark at the store original box so we can't enlarge it and tell you how noisy it is and how blurry everything is and....

Tom, use your head! If it's that noisy and that blurry, why on earth would I want you to see it any closer???

I agree!!!!!!!!!!!! if he can't see the photo becuz it's blurry then he needs glasses!!!! double strength!!!!!!!!

An excellent image! Good strong subject, great contrasts, the door gives us that touch of color to keep it interesting, and looks nice and sharp to me.

Great job.

My goodness, you are too kind. Thank you so much, Treepusher!

Thank you, so much, Beagleman. I wasn't sure if that was a Catholic or an Episcopal Church. Of course you would know. I didn't know that about the red door. Thanks for that info and for the nice comment.

Oh my, that is one fine compliment, Mooseeyes. I thank you so much. I'm glad you like it. I gave some serious thought to that crop and really don't know why I didn't do it, but you are right. I think it calls for it.

Gary, I hate to use UHH to show my work, but if you want to see what I painted, I'll be happy to put a post in chit chat because it says we can put non-photography stuff there.
I will put your name in the title, so you'll find it easily. I will need time to load and re-size the photos...that will be tonight (Mon, 2-4-13)

Nice Jo. I like just as it is. I "framed" it using my hands, and when I cut it the yellow UHH background, the lit doorway jumped out at me. It would be a beautifully contemplative image matted and framed. Perhaps a gift for the church's sanctuary. Nice work.
BTW, what do you do on scaffolding all day?
