I am new here but getting gun shy to post any photos because a DO NOT want anyone editing without my permission! thought that was a new explicit rule!

Question, aren't HDR photos combinations of the same shot with different exposure settings? The redone bridge shot is very nice, but is it a true HDR photo or just a Photoshop adjusted single shot?

My view and I like you do not need permission first. I just take it from the blog, Thanks.

Lower Oak Creek, facing north towards Sedona. Right next to the old bridge.

Just a question of curiosity; how are you creating your HDR's since there is only one image here?

You are in violation of specific rules governing editing photos without permission. You do NOT have permission to edit my photos.

- Please do not edit and re-upload other people's pictures without their explicit permission. In other words, you may not open someone's topic, download an image, edit it (that includes adjusting settings, cropping, adding/removing visual elements, etc.), re-post it, and say "here is a version of your photo that I like better" unless they specifically ask for it.

An HDR image is compiled from three to nine separate images taken by a camera, at different exposures.

Using a Post Processing program to make an under & over-exposed copies of a normally exposed image, then combining all three to a single image, is called Tone Mapping or psuedo-HDR.

True HDR cannot be manipulated from a single exposure.
