Obama did in fact reduce illegal immigration, but not intentionally. It was just the drying up of the job market that sent some people home, not increased enforcement of our borders.

I guess we can credit Mr. Obama with accomplishments for which he is not responsible...his dance-card isn't, by any means, full. I suspect our failing economy is the reason for low illegal immigration.
What do we tell the LEGAL immigrants who are waiting in line, learning the language, learning American history, and civics? Give THEM a short statement PNagy.

You just recounted the evolution of American Labor beginning in the 1890's through to today. Read through want you posted and take into consideration that the immigrants were coming from European countries...man that was dead on history.

you are so right they will go to the end of the line, but wait where is the end of that line, for the Illegals it is right here , enjoying the wealth of our nation, but the Legals at the front of the line are still in their old homeland waiting.

I would not hold my breath waiting for the government to "lock down" the border. If they were capable of doing it I would have hoped it would have been done by now.

It's what they do best, the more laws the law abiding
citizens have to put up with, the less work they have to
do while their in Congress, something like SEE more
and Do less.

If we just enforce them it implies that the POLITICIANS HAVE NOT BEEN DOING THEIR JOBS . Reform or fixing takes away the responsibility for their failures and puts it on the backs of those that governed before them. A political trick at best.
