7 D - think about the lenses!
I have the Nikon 7000 and love it. I love the fact that it has 2 card slots and that in video mode it has auto focus
I've had a 7D for just over a year now and love it....BUT knowing what I know now, I'd give up the fast frame rate and take the Full Frame of the 5D. I'm a Canon guy and would never buy a Nikon so I plead ignorance about the D7000, but if it's full frame and compatable to 7D I'd say get it.
Asking UHH forum "Canon vs Nikon" is like asking a Chic-fil-A forum "Chicken or pork"?

Please can I have your votes before I buy in the next 2 weeks
I'm not going to read 5 pages of responses, so here goes. Nikon people will recommend Nikons, and Canon people will recommend Canons.
Read reviews.
I have a Nikon D7000. I've had it for 3 months and, although it is good, I am already looking for something less easy & more manual. However, I have no experience with Canon so cannot make a balanced argument. My photography teacher has a Canon though & wishes she had bought a Nikon.

Nikon D-7000, both of your choices are great, it's a Ford vs Chevy battle. I personally own and use a D-7000 everyday , it's invaluable with dual sd card slots, i shoot one slot raw the other jpeg, I added a MD-12 battery pack (2-battery's ), a 18-270 Tamron and 11-16 f2.8 and you have a terrific set up. It works for me.

Well I have a 60D and was looking to add two additional bodies for my business, my son has a D3100 and 28-300 VR Nikkor, and wanted to join me, I seriously considered the 7D for a month, then looked at the D7000 for two weeks and bought two and the Sigma 150-500 to compliment the 120-400 on my 60D, the D7000 wins in every way over the 7d except for the buffer and that is minimal.
The D7000 is streets ahead.
I don't want full frame so you have my reply.
How do you like the sigma 150-500? Im thinking about getting one

I can't believe this has gone on for five pages. It's like asking if I should buy a BMW or a M-B. Will it really make any difference? Please - don't start answering that? It was a rhetorical question.
