well since it is a dummy...why not just glue some wheels on it...then it will roll baby roll.

More training. This time it was hard as the dummy was really heavy. Sand and old metal pipes. It has since been replaced with one that has broken already and is held together with duct tape.
Rule #9, always carry a knife so you can let the sand out of the dummy :D :D
Funny you should say that, I had my 13-1 multi tool with me but the dummy ripped open so bad we lost most of the sand to the driveway. The dept still needed the dummy so we just patched it up with more duct tape and added more sand when we were done.

The last time that I did the firefighter challenge I was 56 years old and I did it in 3 minutes 48 seconds. You are allowed 7 minutes to complete the challenge. I needed oxygen when I was done. :hunf:
Found a photo of it about 90% extended. I took this during the Dept's 2011 Citizen's Fire Academy when we had the training night at the fairgounds. This is right behind the grandstand area.
Impressive height. I wonder how far away in the distance one could see up that high above the treetops.
