That's photographers and tripods all right! Nice mood capture... it awakens memories.
See if you can spot the tripod in this shot.

Glad you like the punny remark.
Where is your next favorite photographer's image pic? I can hardly wait...
They tell me that a good cameraman needs a sense of balance. Do they mean this literally?

Photographers have to understand all about balance... WHAT!

Okay, another one of Dave. Not needing balance in this shot, where he is "getting the low down" on his subject.

That's the spirit. I've always said a photographer marches on his stomach!
Did you know I'm dead keen on Fisheye lenses?
Here's a fisheye candid of two female photographers from our club confronted with a rather explicit artwork in an illuminated box outside the Christchurch (NZ) Art Gallery. Taken at night with the help of my very sensitive Nikon F3s... Talk about flash-less photography!

Lets have some pictures of photographers.

Me + 1 Camera + 1 tripod + 2 speedlites + 3 glasses of wine = this picture! :)

This may be out of order!

That's an interesting use of flash, out of doors at night. This often gives interesting effects particularly when the flash is angled so as to conceal what might become too explicit.
I took this picture of myself, using a tripod and a single side flash. The long exposure makes the fire looking interesting and the partial illumination transforms the shot into a fantasy that does not offend.
Outdoor use of flash is extremely tricky but well worth experimenting on, because the lack of nearby reflecting surfaces often adds great mystery. Both your shot and mine have an element of fantasy due to the fall off of light.

I went to a rodeo for the first time yesterday.
Here is some of the fun and a look at my fellow shutterbugs.
Note the guy with the Canon is hiding it behind his back in the presense of the mighty Nikon D4.

Everytime I see these overburdened pros I remember my time whem I used to drive a Mamiya RB67. Thank goodness modern digital DSLRS are so good these days. Whenever I feel like moaning about the weight of my Nikon D3s with the 24-70 zoom I look at the attached picture. And I remember why I now have great muscles!
