I'm wondering if there is an adapter to mount a Canon lens to a four-thirds mount.

Yes, there are adapters. Check eBay by searching: EOS (or FD) adapter for <your camera make and model>.

With EOS lenses you will lose auto focus and will lose aperture control (you shoot wide open) although Kipon makes one with a manual aperture control for ~$125-150.
I don't know how good they are but have been intrigued with it for my NEX-5.

With FD lenses you gain manual aperture control.

You have to set your camera to fire without a lens and you shoot either in Av or M.

In general, if the adapter needs glass to work they will be crap as the integral lens will be of poor quality. The only ones that work have no glass. If you need glass in the adapter to achieve infinite focus DON"T buy it.

I don't think higher price paid increases the quality on these adapters....just an opinion.

Hope that helps. :-D

I use Metabones adapter for Nikon to m4/3 Lumix camera. There is no autofocus, but i get to use old & fast lenses. T quality of the adapter is great.

Make sure you keep the type of mount in mind: You asked about an adapter to a "four/thirds mount", Bobblas suggested a Metabones adapter to a Micro 4/3 camera. Big difference.
