Venice pic quite nice.
Oxen...I like the pic...I can not tell that you used fill flash. The shadows are def from behind. There is a slight glow on closer animal but i think that is light from setting sun, no? The front cows face is dark. I like it..my kinda shot...locals doing what they do.
There are people on this site that know a lot more than me though...so take it for what it is worth.

Sometimes it is hard to get away from other tourists..especially if you are in a port area where the cruise boats drop off. Even when you are travelling to the top of a crater you might be following a crowd. But get yourself your own wheels and follow random signs and you may find yourself with a great view and a herding dog taking it in.

These photos I see today are just gorgeous. It is Thanksgiving, but when I get a bit of time, I will add some too. Many of mine will be Paris, Grand Canon, and places in the US. I am so inspired. Thanks for all of the beauty I see today. a huge WOW, to the photgraphers.
