1st Post go easy

This is my first attempt at being "creative" so be easy. :lol:
I just downloaded Picasa 3 so I am playing around at work to see what it can do. Here are my first results.
If I had PS I would have removed the "top" from the skull and lettering on the glass but I am limited, and just bored at work waiting till 5pm.
So I dug this picture up that I took. We were just being silly taking pictures of it, I liked how the wine in the glass reflected so I thought I would see what happened.

I think the Lettering in the shadow is the best part, It makes since for the light to act this way because the letters block the light, just never paid attention or saw this before. Sometimes accidents are good.

the after version may have a bit too blur for my taste, make the photo look out of focus. But cool shot!

Like the first version! The shadowed lettering adds to the photo and is lost in the second. Too blurred in the second making the photo look as if the shot was out of focus. Nice work! Keep #1.

Thank you. I took several shots at different angles. We were sitting in the yard one evening and the reflection was just beaming off my sweats. It was so interesting how the light reflected, that's what tempted me to try and pose it with the crystal skull. I will mess around with it some more and who knows maybe a photo contest worthy entry ;-) in our town.

Good start. Personally, I like the first picture. Clear and precise.
