It's a nice idea, and not bad for HDR, but it's a teeeny bit crooked, down from left to right. The clouds up top are a bit blown out as well, but it's still a good start. The framing and comp, apart from the tilt, are good.

The photo is tilted, the highlights are blown, it has too little contrast, and it too light overall.

I don't mean to be too harsh, but that photo is way overprocessed, sometimes less is more.

Is it me or does nearly every attempt at HDR appear like a normal photo which is oversharpened to the point that the noise overcomes the sharpness????

I like the composition. HDR too overdone for me.

bcphotos: Most HDRs are overdone for my tastes, some people love 'em and there is nothing wrong with that. BUT, hdr is a great tool to capture an image the way a human eye sees it. Most are way overdone for my taste, but what the hell do I know.

It's not just you, but I would modify "every" to "most."
